Hoyt Arboretum Engagement Session

Fall in Portland is pure magic, and Hoyt Arboretum is one of my favorite places to capture that golden autumn glow. With its expansive collection of trees and colorful foliage, the arboretum transforms into a vibrant backdrop for engagement photography. The towering trees shed their leaves, creating a soft, earthy carpet of yellows, oranges, and reds which is perfect for a romantic engagement session.

For Taylor and AJ’s Hoyt Arboretum engagement session, we explored the winding trails and soaked in the breathtaking views of Portland’s West Hills. As a photographer, I love when couples embrace the season, and these two did just that. A light sprinkle began to fall, so we pulled out the clear umbrella! One of my favorite props for cozy, rainy-day engagement photos. It added the perfect Portland touch to their session, highlighting the city’s signature moody charm.
