Alex and Meaghan’s Engagement Session

Sauvie Island made for a natural choice for Alex and Meaghan's engagement session. This spot is unhurried, pastoral, and just far enough outside the city to feel like a breath of fresh air. The island's wide open fields, wandering paths, and soft light gave the session a relaxed, easy quality that matched the two of them perfectly.

Alex and Meaghan have been together seven years, which is no small thing! The early stretch of their relationship was also long distance, which has a way of either testing a relationship or deepening it. For them, it clearly did the latter. In June 2023, Alex proposed at Clear Lake, Oregon, trading the distance of their early years for a very clear future together.

When they're not planning a wedding, they're most likely on a mountain, on the water, or on a trail somewhere, skiing, paddleboarding, and hiking are the rhythm of their life together, and it shows in how grounded and at ease they are with each other. There's no stiffness here, just two people who have logged a lot of miles together and genuinely like where they're headed.

That next destination is Bridal Veil, where they'll be married on June 1, 2025. It's an outdoor setting with the kind of natural beauty that needs very little dressing up, a lot like this couple.
