Mariah & Justin’s Oregon Coast Engagement Session in Florence, Oregon
Mariah and Justin's engagement session took us to one of our favorite spots for Oregon Coast photography: Florence. If you're looking for an Oregon Coast engagement photographer who captures real connection over stiff poses, their session is a good example of what that looks like.
We started at River Roasters, a cozy little coffee shop right on the water. Grabbing coffee first is one of our favorite ways to kick off a session, it gives couples time to relax and just be themselves before the camera comes out. Mariah's energy is contagious, and it's clear Justin adores her.
From there we headed to the Heceta Head Lighthouse Trail, where the ocean views are hard to beat. At one point a bunny hopped across the trail mid-shoot, which felt like the coast's way of showing off a little extra.
Next was the Hobbit Trail, Mariah and Justin's favorite spot and honestly one of ours too. The trees arch overhead into this glowing green tunnel that looks like something out of a storybook.
We wrapped up back at the beach near Heceta Head as the sunset turned gold, then pink. Mariah kicked her shoes off and ran straight into the water, with Justin right behind her.
Mariah and Justin will say "I do" at St. John the Apostle Church in Portland, celebrating afterward at Arc Light Venue with 120 guests, including family flying in from California.
