A Portland Waterfront Engagement Session
When it is the winter and all the trees are sleeping, silent and bare there is no better place than the Portland Waterfront for an engagement session. With its mixture of greenery, gardens and grand river crossings it offers a beautiful balance of nature and city scenery, even in the colder months. It’s an ideal setting for couples who want a relaxed, exploratory feel to their engagement photos.
Starting at the gardens at the South Waterfront we ventured to the docks and then finally to Hawthorne Bridge one of Portland’s most recognizable landmarks. Each location offered a slightly different backdrop, giving the session variety while keeping everything walkable and easygoing.
Lauren and Jake were nothing but giggles, laughter and fun. Honestly, the shoot was a breeze and was definitely a fun winter engagement session!
