Mariah and Justin’s wedding day was a gorgeous celebration in Oregon City, filled with beautiful spaces, meaningful moments, and stunning portraits. Their day began with a ceremony at a local church in Oregon City, surrounded by their family and friends, before everyone headed to The Arc Light for the reception.
One of our favorite things about The Arc Light is how thoughtfully every space is designed. Housed in a beautifully restored 1922 Oddfellows Lodge, this historic Oregon City venue blends classic architectural details with modern elegance. From the gorgeous ballroom and vintage inspired bar to the private getting ready suites, there are so many beautiful spots throughout the venue. The bridal suite has plenty of room and gorgeous natural light, making it perfect for getting ready and capturing those little details. Meanwhile, the guys have their own space complete with a pool table and TV, giving them the perfect place to hang out and enjoy the morning before the festivities begin.
After the ceremony, we explored some nearby spots for bridal party photos and portraits of Mariah and Justin. Taking a little time away from the celebration to capture photos of just the couple is always worth it, especially for sunset photos.
Back at The Arc Light, the celebration continued in a space that is just as beautiful as it is functional. With its historic charm and elegant ballroom, it is easy to see why this venue is such a wonderful option for couples getting married in the Portland area. The venue also offers full-service catering through The Hive Catering Co., along with thoughtfully designed spaces that help the day flow naturally from cocktail hour to dinner and dancing.
