A Wedding Day at Saint Irene’s in Tualatin, OR

For brides planning a wedding at Saint Irene's in Tualatin, take note of the day Ava and Jack planned, it turned out absolutely ideal!

Saint Irene's event venue has a lot of amazing things going for it: tons of natural light, gorgeous textures, a ceremony and reception space ideal for creative floral installations, amazing food, and tons of parking for your guests. The one challenge when planning a wedding here is finding ample getting-ready space. Ava found the perfect solution, locating an Airbnb nearby that had everything you could want: lots of bedrooms, a separate space for both wedding parties to get ready, and gorgeous grounds ideal for pre-wedding portraits!

The day started there, with the girls getting their hair and makeup done by Gilded Fox Beauty while the guys enjoyed a relaxing morning in the loft.

Ava's bridesmaids donned their unique dresses and then helped Ava, stunning in a Benjamin Fox gown, perfect her look with the final touches of jewelry and a veil.

Ava and her father shared a private first look before she went outside to greet her waiting groom.

Sharing smiles and laughter, Ava and Jack recounted their morning to each other before exchanging emotional private vows.

Portraits of the wedding party and family were then taken on the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Airbnb before everyone packed up and headed to Saint Irene's.

The rest of the wedding day team had been hard at work all morning. Ben of DJ Bazooka put together a killer DJ setup, Yeni of Petal Apocalypse installed floating clouds of soft baby's breath suspended over the ceremony space, and bright, bold tiered florals popped against the geometric white backdrop. Jaime Ta and her team were prepping for a flip from ceremony to reception over cocktail hour, ensuring everyone had exactly what they needed to create the perfect day.

As guests arrived, they enjoyed family and couple portraits in the beautiful light outside Saint Irene's before being ushered in for the ceremony.

Ernie of EC Matrimony conducted a wonderful ceremony for Ava and Jack, and as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, it was nothing but joyful smiles all around!

Ava and Jack mingled with their guests at a cocktail hour hosted just a few paces away on the patio of the neighboring restaurant.

Ava had designed custom wedding trading cards for her guests, and everyone had a blast collecting them from a vending machine also custom designed by the bride!

Once the ceremony space was transformed for dinner, guests returned for a delicious family-style meal, heartfelt toasts, and the cutting of the delicious cake by Banquette PDX.

Everyone gathered on the dance floor to witness the first dance and the emotional father-daughter and mother-son dances before DJ Bazooka lit it up and the real celebrating began!

A quick ten-minute escape for sunset portraits, and then the party was truly on.

The dance floor stayed packed all night, fueled by DJ Bazooka's seamless mixing and an energy that never let up. From the intimate vow exchange that morning to the last song of the night, every moment of Ava and Jack's wedding was a reflection of who they are: warm, joyful, and surrounded by people who love them. It was the kind of day that reminds you exactly why you do this work, and we are so honored to have been part of it.
