Color Collect: your partner for choosing the perfect color palate for your Wedding!

Choosing your wedding colors sets the entire mood and design direction of your big day. If you’re not naturally confident with color palettes, a helpful wedding color palette app can make the process so much easier.

While apps like Pantone Studio are powerful, they can feel a bit overwhelming for wedding planning. A simpler option is Color Collect, which is much more intuitive and wedding-friendly.

With Color Collect, you can take a photo of your wedding venue and instantly generate color palette ideas based on its natural tones. You can also upload inspiration images from Pinterest and build a cohesive wedding color scheme from them.

One standout feature is customization—you can refine exactly which parts of a photo the app pulls colors from, so unwanted elements don’t affect your palette. It also provides exact color values, making it easy to match your palette across invitations, place cards, and other wedding design details.

If you’re unsure how to pair colors, the app even suggests complementary color combinations based on your chosen shade.

A simple, powerful tool for creating your perfect wedding color palette.

Still White: The perfect app to help you find the dress of your dreams!

This wedding dress shopping app has everything—high-end designer gowns, local boutique dresses near you, second-hand wedding dresses, and sample sale gowns you can buy brand new for a fraction of the cost.

It’s also an amazing tool if you’re still exploring your wedding dress style. A lot of brides (myself included) don’t realize how many silhouette options exist beyond just mermaid or A-line—so this app helps you discover what you actually love before you even step into a bridal shop.

What makes it especially helpful is how easy it is to use. You can filter your wedding dress search by size (0–30+), price, designer, location, condition, silhouette, sleeve type, neckline, length, back style, color, and fabric—so you can narrow things down quickly.

You can also save your favorite dresses to a list, which makes it easy to compare styles or show your bridal consultant exactly what you’re looking for.

Unlike many dress apps, it doesn’t use gimmicky “try it on your face” features, which keeps the experience simple and realistic.

Overall, it’s a great way to explore wedding dress ideas, discover new styles, and shop both local boutiques and designer gowns from around the world.

Seat Puzzle - Your Best Friend when Designing your Reception Space and how to Arrange your Assigned Seating for Dinner!

I still remember planning my own wedding and spreading a giant sheet of butcher paper across the kitchen floor with a hand-drawn wedding reception seating chart. I printed tiny labels for all 175 guests and spent hours moving everyone around with input from my parents to get the perfect table layout. Then our cat walked right through it and completely ruined half the setup—let’s just say I was not thrilled.

You can skip all of that stress by using Sea Puzzle, a simple and helpful wedding seating chart and venue layout app.

This app walks you step-by-step through designing your ceremony or reception floor plan, including tables, chairs, arches, lounges, and more. It uses accurate proportions so you can see exactly how your layout will fit in your actual venue space, and you can fully customize dimensions to match your room.

It also includes built-in furniture options like round and square tables, DJ booths, gift tables, cocktail tables, and more—making it easy to build a realistic wedding reception layout.

You can even import your guest list directly from your phone contacts, saving you from retyping names over and over again.

Overall, it’s a huge time-saver and makes creating your wedding seating chart so much easier and less stressful.

GuestPix - Software photo sharing on your big day!

guestpix app logo

One of the most enjoyable things the day after your wedding is going through all the photos and videos your guests took! Of course you hire an amazing photographer who will get the most incredible and professional images of your day, but what about that totally ridiculous selfie your maid of honor took with the flower girl? And what about that hilarious boomerang video the groomsmen took while they were taking shots at the bar? Silly moments like these end up scattered all over various social media platforms and even with a wedding hashtag it can be a bit of a pain tracking them all down!

GuestPix is a software where everyone can share their photos and videos via one platform so that you never miss a moment! It is simple to set up and easy to use so check it out for your wedding and keep it on your phone for other fun events where there might not necessarily be a professional photographer capturing your event moments so carefully.

I hope this blog brings some simplification to your Wedding Planning Experience!

Of course I don’t pretend that these five apps are the only apps you’ll need, but they will certainly give you a start and provide a helpful foundation for some of the more difficult pieces of the wedding-planning puzzle!

Have another wedding app that you feel deserves to be one of my favorites? Drop me a note with the app name and why you love it! I’d love to update my list from year to year with the wonderful suggestions of other brides and grooms going through the wedding planning process!
